China is known as the birthplace of black tea. Until the 17th century, only green and oolong teas were consumed. Black tea was discovered when the Chinese started fermenting tea leaves to extend its storage life. Fermentation resulted in an oxidized, darker version of the leaves, which became popular as black tea.

3. Herbal Tea Herbal teas or tisanes are beverages made from the infusion of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot water. The term herbal tea is often used in contrast to the so-called true teas (e.g., black, green, white, yellow or oolong), which are prepared from the cured leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. Unlike true teas, most tisanes do not naturally contain caffeine.

Dating back to Ancient Egypt and Ancient China, herbal tea has been used for hundreds of years for its health benefits and great taste.

Taste -
